OMG HOW THESE TASTE ARE NOT A LET DOWN NUTELLA TRUFFLES TRULY TASTE LIKE HEAVEN
Okay I’ve calmed down. But I saw these about on the web and thought well heck I’ll give it a go, I love cooking and baking and who doesn’t love Nutella????
So less talking more reciping
300g Dark Chocolate
Jar of Nutella
300ml of Double Cream
50g Unsalted Butter
Sprinkles/Cocoa Powder for deco
Note: I didn’t use cocoa powder which made the mixture more sticky to touch so I would advise to use it
- You will need 2 pans of water to boil over the hob with a glass bowl on top. Break up the chocolate into one and as it starts to melt in the other bowl pour in your cream and butter. Cut the butter up to help it melt quicker. Boil this mixture until it starts to bubble
- Once is starts to bubble pour the mix into the melted chocolate and leave it for about 30 seconds. Take off the hob and mix together so it forms as smooth shiny mixture. As you are mixing add in 3 heaped tablespoons of Nutella.
- Once all mixed together place the mixture in the fridge to set for 1.5-2 hrs.
- Take out of fridge and scoop up with a teaspoon roughly to the size of the Lindtt chocolate ball. Round it your hands, cover in cocoa powder and decoration and voila! Mine is without cocoa powder hence its sticky look so the cocoa powder would be more aesthetically pleasing.
