Blogger meet ups, who doesn’t love them!
The lovely Shanice from The Bloggers Hub ran this party in association with Spectrum Collections (what funky brushes!). If you were in the Bloggers Hub whatsapp group then you know Shanice has been working super hard to make things awesome. She found a sick venue in Clerkenwell, a penthouse which now I want a penthouse btw. But she couldn’t do it alone…send in the team that helped set up. With myself, Alex, Saphron, Rosalie & Nikki (bless she came in all the way from The Midlands) we arrived to help get this party started. Sorting out the brands, helping Shanice move god knows how many boxes of food and goodie bag treats upstairs we loved it. I have never met any of these ladies before but guess this was an easy way of tagging onto other bloggers and making friends. Even if you couldn’t find someone, Shanice made sure you had someone and weren’t left out bless her she remembered EVERYBODYS NAMES!
With the sun shining it really lifted to mood of everyone. Music in the background, catching rays on the balcony, it was such a good atmosphere. What I loved about this event was finally putting names for faces. Its one thing reading the blog but once you’ve met someone you totally get their vibe so much more. One male blogger came, Ashy, I didn’t get to talk to him much but I could tell he was a right laugh. Just because the event was all about merbabes there was no shame for blokes to turn up. Bless though his girlfriend got given the goodie bag, Ashy scores boyfriend points *fistbump*
The girls from the Mermaid Cave not only provided the cute inflatable clam but they did everyones glitter and braided hair. If you get the chance to see anyones Insta they were all on point matching everyones outfits!
The lovely Sophie & Hannah who own Spectrum Collections were at the event and my gosh what a lovely set of girls. When talking to them about how they set up their business and why they run it in the way they choose to, I really respect them for all their hard work and effort.
Thanks to this event I made blogger friends who I literally can’t wait to see again. I also got to meet Bianca from GLDN who I did a snapchat takeover for. Such a lovely lady and can’t wait to do more for them! We had so much of a laugh. I even got to take home one of the unicorn balloons who I have named Clive 😀
The goodie bags Shanice organised were so so nice! Quiz magazine & chokers, Leighton Denny nail spray and varnish, Joan Collins Mascara, Candy Kitten sweets, GLDN voucher, Elegant Touch nails, Eylure lashes, Bounce protein ball and Spectrum Brushes! Go girl for all that effort put in! Literally buzzing for the next event.
So much credit to Shanice for organising this all. We all had a great time and I literally can’t wait to meet more bloggers and of course see the lovely girls from Saturday too! Lets do it!
